Directions from Durban: (±330 km / 3½ hours)

  • Take the N2 freeway heading North (sign boards will indicate Stanger).
  • Continue directly on the N2 passing Richards Bay, Mtubatuba , Hluhluwe and Mkuze.
  • 10km on the N2 past the town of Mkuze, you will see a right turn indicating Jozini.
  • Turn right at the sign board and continue for 19km over the Lebombo Mountain Pass.
  • As you enter Jozini, with the SAPS on the right, turn left onto gravel road.
  • Travel a further 100m down this road until reaching the Jozini Tiger Lodge security checkpoint and gate.

Driving from Johannesburg: (±550 km / 5½ hours)

  • Take the N4 or N12 towards Witbank & Middleburg.
  • Follow signs to the N11 heading to Hendrina & Ermelo.
  • Follow signs to the N2 to Piet Retief & Pongola.
  • From Pongola continue on the N2 towards Mkhuze, following the signs to Jozini.
  • 10km before Mkhuze, a Jozini sign will be indicated.
  • Turn left at the Jozini sign and continue for 19km over the Lebombo Mountain Pass.
  • As you enter Jozini, with the SAPS on the right, turn left onto gravel road.
  • Travel a further 100m down this road until reaching the Jozini Tiger Lodge security checkpoint and gate.
